EXETER LIONS LEADERSHIP

Andrew Rodriguez

I have been a proud member of the Exeter Lions Club for four years. One of my favorite memories is helping at the Brewfest and serving on the board, where we allocate funds to local clubs and organizations that enrich the lives of children in our community. I initially joined to become more visible in the community, but I quickly came to admire the dedication and effort of those who make youth opportunities in Exeter possible—I strive to be one of those dependable contributors. To anyone considering joining, I encourage you to get to know the members and their history of service; their dedication is a testament to the impact the Lions Club has on our community.

I have been a proud member of the Exeter Lions Club for 10 years. Some of my favorite memories include volunteering at various events and cooking alongside Lion Larry Lakey. I joined after a neighbor, Romero V., shared the incredible work the Lions do for our community. To anyone considering joining, I’d say it’s a great group of big-hearted people doing fun, meaningful work to raise money for our community and especially for our youth—the future of Exeter!

I’ve been a proud member of the Exeter Lions Club for over a year. One of my favorite memories is seeing the pride and sense of accomplishment in the coaches and athletes at the Lions Athlete of the Month events. I joined with a simple goal: to serve. I’ve been a proud member of the Lions Club for 28 years and have greatly enjoyed working with California Lions Friends in Sight, volunteering at pop-up vision clinics to provide free screenings and recycled eyeglasses to individuals in need. After relocating to Exeter, I joined to continue my passion for community service and was thrilled to transfer into such an active and welcoming club. I first connected with the Exeter Lions through their presence at the downtown National Night Out event and admired their contributions to beautifying the city. To anyone considering joining, I encourage you to get involved—Exeter Lions are civic-minded individuals dedicated to serving the community, and there’s always room for more!

I’ve been a proud member of the Exeter Lions Club for 24 years. One of my favorite memories is participating in the Brewfest, an event that brings the community together. I joined after being invited to a meeting when I was new to the area and only knew my family. My mother-in-law, Barbara Bodine, introduced me to the club, and Gary Mussen sponsored me. For anyone considering joining, it’s a fun group that does so much for the community—a great way to give back while working as part of a team.

I joined with the simple goal of serving the community and was introduced to the club by my sponsor, Ted Macaulay. To anyone considering joining, I can say it’s a great experience and a wonderful way to give back!

I’ve been a member of the Exeter Lions Club for 5 years and had the pleasure to serve as last year’s President. One of my favorite memories is last year’s Independence Celebration and concert. I joined to get involved in the community I love and to make a difference. If you’re looking to give back to Exeter, this is the most active club with the best events to join and help organize!
